Methods of depleting disease-causing factors through antibody-targeted phagocytosis

The present disclosure provides for targeted phagocytosis in a human subject upon administration of a molecule comprising a binding domain that binds to a specific phagocytic receptor, such as Dectin-1, and a binding domain that binds to a specific disease-causing factor. It relates to methods of depleting or reducing the number of disease-causing agents, including host cells, or host cell products, microorganisms or products thereof. In a specific embodiment, the methods of the present disclosure deplete or reduce the number of disease-causing factors in tissue, blood, or bone marrow by targeted phagocytosis.
