SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the supply of electricity to electrical networks in contact with current collectors of vehicles. The information system for determining the causes for equalizing current in AC traction power supply systems contains the first and second traction transformers, the first and second feeding feeders of adjacent traction substations, the contact wire of the substation zone and suction feeders. In this case, the voltages and currents of the first and second feeding feeders are measured using the first and second current and voltage vector meters, respectively. The third and fourth current and voltage vector meters measure the current and voltage vectors on the primary windings of traction transformers. Current and voltage vector meters receive accurate time signals from the first and second synchronization units and transmit information containing current and voltage vector parameters and timestamps to the local computer network through the first and second data transmission nodes of traction substations.
