PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultra violet shielding material, which can reduce deterioration rate of resin while keeping a high ultraviolet shielding effect and transparency, even when used in a mixed form with the resin.SOLUTION: While titanium oxide can give a high ultraviolet shielding effect and a photocatalyst active effect by forming a nano-tube structure, the photocatalyst active effect is suppressed so that deterioration rate may be reduced and ultraviolet shielding material keeping high ultraviolet shielding effect and high transparency is provided by coating a surface of the titanium oxide with silicon dioxide, or the silicon dioxide and barium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
