An object of the present invention is to provide a binder composition for a non-aqueous secondary battery electrode that has excellent viscosity stability and can form an electrode mixture layer in which swelling in an electrolytic solution is suppressed. The binder composition of the present invention includes a polymer having a functional group capable of binding to a cationic group, and an organic compound having two or more cationic groups and having a molecular weight of 8000 or less.
