The present invention relates to a microplastic separation device capable of separating and recovering microplastics in marine sediment samples collected from beaches and seabeds from other foreign substances, and more specifically, density adjustment in the range of 1.4 to 1.8 g/cm 3 A cylinder-shaped separation pipe having a predetermined diameter and height is provided so that the made blank solution can be put together with a certain amount of sediment sample, and the separation pipe is divided into an upper pipe and a lower pipe, and a shut-off valve is installed therebetween. On the other hand, by installing a sealing cover to prevent leakage of the blank solution on the bottom surface of the lower pipe, the blank solution and the sediment sample are sequentially introduced into the separation pipe set in an upright state, and the sediment sample is evenly distributed with the blank solution. After stirring, as the separation pipe is kept in an upright state for a certain period of time, microplastics having a lower density than the blank solution float to the upper layer of the blank solution, while other foreign substances having a higher density than the blank solution are placed in the lower layer of the blank solution. In this state, the shut-off valve is used to block the fluid movement between the upper pipe and the lower pipe, and then tilt the separation pipe to the side so that the microplastic that has risen to the upper layer of the blank solution can be recovered. It relates to a device for density separation of microplastics in sediments.
