This disclosure provides a spark plug assembly for an internal combustion engine. A spark plug assembly is provided with an insulating body extending along a longitudinal axis and defining a first surface extending radially and positioned between the first and second ends. A center electrode extends through the insulating body and a side electrode is connected to the insulating body for rotation therewith. A holder is connected to the second end of the insulating body and defines a second surface,which extends radially. A sheath is supported rotationally by the insulating body and surrounds it. The sheath is positioned between the first and second surfaces and defines an inner surface and an outer surface with thread. A bushing is rotationally supported by the insulating body and surrounds it, is positioned radially between the jacket and the insulating body and is positioned between the first and the second surface. The bushing defines a conical outer surface to match the inner surface of the sheath.
