The invention relates to a test assembly (11) and a test method for testing the electromagnetic compatibility of an electric axle drive assembly (9) by measuring the interference emission and/or immunity. In order to enable the measurement of the emission and/or immunity of this axle drive assembly (9) by simple means, it is proposed to connect the two output shafts (15, 16) of the axle drive assembly (9) with two load machines (6) using angular gears (18, 19) in such a way, that the output shafts (15,16) and the drive shafts (21) of the load machinery (6) are not coaxial.
