The network node includes processing circuitry configured to transmit a first configuration for prioritized 2-step random access, RA, signaling 5 where the first configuration includes at least a power ramping step and is separately configured from a second configuration for RA signaling, and perform the prioritized 2-step RA signaling based on the power ramping step of the first configuration.
