METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CORRECTING METAL ARTIFACT IN CT IMAGE

According to the present invention, disclosed are a method and device for correcting a metal artifact in a CT image. The method comprises the steps of: reconstructing each of a first back-projection image and a second back-projection image of first projection data and second projection data, respectively; and generating an image, in which artifacts included in the reconstructed CT images have been attenuated, by using the first back-projection image and the second back-projection image. Thus, the present invention avoids an iterative reconstruction framework and reduces the amount of calculation.
