The invention relates to a radial fan comprising a rotatably mounted motor-drivable impeller (1), by means of which air is suctioned via an intake manifold (13) and conveyed to an outlet (11) of a stationary housing (2), which radial fan is designed such that the housing (2) is annular and has, on the inside, a duct for conveying air, which duct has an input region (3) connected to the radial air outflow of the impeller (1), which input region transitions into a sharp bend (4) to which an output region (5) is connected that opens into the axially oriented outlet (11).
