The prediction of common bile duct stone recurrence using microbiome

The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing common bile duct gallstones using a microbiome, by extracting DNA from microorganisms from biological samples isolated from common bile duct gallstone patients and healthy controls, and comparing their microbiota to specific for common bile duct gallstones. By identifying microorganisms Enterobacteriaceae, Enterococcus or Pseudomonas genus (Genus), it provides a method for predicting recurrence of common bile duct gallstones and a composition for predicting recurrence of common bile duct gallstones.
