FIELD: veterinary medicine. ;SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine and can be used to prevent the risk of parainfluenza-3 disease in calves, including the introduction of a viral vaccine to pregnant cows, characterized in that 2 months before calving, cows are twice injected with an interval of 14 days with the following vaccines: inactivated viral “Combovac-R”, bacterial “OKZ” and immunomodulator “Imactin” in doses of 3 cm3/head, 3 cm3/head, 0.3 mg/kg of body weight, and calves at an increased risk of respiratory diseases at the age of 14-20 days are injected twice, with an interval of 14 days, the immunomodulator “Imactin” is administered at a dose of 1.5 mg/kg of body weight together with the vaccine “OKZ” at a dose of 1 cm3 and again the same drugs at the age of 1.5 months are additionally administered to calves, twice, also with an interval of 14 days, with the vaccine “Combovac-R” at a dose of 2 cm3 together with the drug “Imactin” at a dose of 1.5 mg/kg of body weight, while in the second stage of the period before calving (21-0 days before calving) cows in the feed of the main diet are introduced as a feed additive: arabinogalactan, 195-205 mg/day, per cow. ;EFFECT: prevention of the risk of respiratory diseases of calves of viral and bacterial etiology, taking into account the age of calves, on the for 14-20th days of life, in which colostral immunity sharply decreases and only active immunity begins to function, and as a result, the risks of respiratory diseases sharply increase. ;1 cl, 6 tbl, 1 ex
