The present disclosure provides a performance detection method, and relates to the field of computer technology, and specifically relates to the field of cloud computing and cloud platform technology. The method determines the performance detection type of the applet performance to be detected and the participant data interface participating in the applet performance detection (S110); passing the detection instruction information corresponding to the performance detection type to the terminal device requiring applet performance detection through the participant data interface (S120); receiving the applet execution data obtained by collecting data according to the detection instruction information from the terminal device (S130); and performing applet performance analysis according to the applet execution data to obtain corresponding applet performance data (S140). The present disclosure also provides a performance detecting device, an electronic device, and a computer-readable medium. Through the performance detection method, apparatus, electronic device, and computer readable medium of the present disclosure, performance analysis of the applet can be performed to quickly identify problems in the applet development process, thereby improving applet performance.
