The balance training instrument comprises a base, wherein an upper surface of the base is fixedly connected to a protective guard; a motor is fixedly connected inside the base, a first rotating shaft is fixedly connected at the outer side of the motor; the surface of the first rotating shaft is fixedly connected to a first transmission gear; and a second transmission gear is fixedly connected to the outer side of the first transmission gear. By rotating a rotating handle arranged on a reversing device, the reversing device meshes with a sliding rod, such that the sliding rod moves to the left and right and drives a speed regulation gear to move to the left and right.
