Device (1) for removing the section (2c1) of a plastic foil (2c) which passes through the edges of a composite safety-glass pane (2) comprising a top glass pane (2a) and a bottom glass pane (2b) with the plastic foil in between (2c), comprising (1) a support element (3) on which are mounted:a cutting knife (4) carried by the support element (3) in such a way as to overlay it with a cut (4a) to cut the film section (2c1) which passes over the edge of the upper glass panel (2a) and the lower glass panel (2b); anda spacer (5),which is worn by the support element (3) in such a way as to exceed it, where the rotating axis (A) of the spacer roll (5) is perpendicular to the plane of the plates and the glass edge coating (2) pointing to the composite safety panel (5) is further in the direction of the glass edge of the plate than the cutting edge (4a) of the cutting knife (4),where the spacer roller (5) comes into contact with the edge of the upper panel (2a) and/or with the edge of the lower table (2b) to guide the cutting knife (4), characterized by:-the spacer (5) is positioned in front of the cutting blade (D) of the device (1) parallel to the edge of the composite safety panel (2) in front of the cutting knife (4); andThe device (1) also includes a foil-steering element (6) which is carried by the support element (3) in such a way that it supersedes it in order to obtain the superposition (2c1) of the plastic foil (2c) from the side surfaces (2a1, 2b1) of the glass-panels (2b, 2b) and to place this superposition (2c1) in a plane, which essentially runs parallel (2c2) to the plane of the foil (2c) to facilitate the cutting process through the cutting knife (4).
