A socket connection to be provided on a final part of a communication cable containing a ladder includes a tube-shaped section in which a plug connection is used and a connecting section to be electrically connected to the ladder. The tube-shaped section contains a leaf spring section for pressing an external surface of the connector, which is used in the tube-shaped section. An outer part of the leaf spring section is exposed on an outer circumference of the tube-shaped section.
