PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for supporting a P_Key table based on a scalable bitmap in a high-performance computing environment. Multiple end nodes can be associated with at least one of multiple partitions, each of which is associated with a P_Key value. The method can associate each of one or more switches with a bitmap-based P_Key table out of a plurality of bitmap-based P_Key tables.
