Provided in the present application are a method and system for obtaining the centerline of an aorta on the basis of CT sequence images, the method comprising: obtaining three-dimensional (3D) data of CT sequence images; obtaining the center of gravity of the heart and the center of gravity of the spine according to the 3D data; filtering impurity data from 3D CT images, and obtain images containing the left atrium, the left ventricle, and an undisturbed coronary artery tree; performing layered slicing to obtain a binarized image group; obtaining the center and radius of a circle from each slice in the binarized image group, and generating a point list and a radius list; and creating a correspondence between pixel points in the point list and the radius list and the images to obtain the centerline of the aorta. In the present application, the center of gravity of the heart and the spine are first screened out, the positions of the heart and spine are positioned, then lung tissue is removed from a CT image according to the positions of the heart and spine, the aorta, spine and ribs are descended, and then the centerline of the aorta is extracted from the processed image, which reduces the amount of calculation; moreover, the algorithm is simple, operation is easy, calculation is fast, the design is scientific, and image processing is accurate.
