Provided are a method and system for extracting a point on a center line of an aorta on the basis of a CT sequence image. The method comprises: starting layered slicing from the top layer of a CT image to obtain a two-dimensional image group; binarizing the two-dimensional image group to obtain a binarized image group; and obtaining N ≤ Nthreshold 1 and R = Rthreshold 1 ± m from a slice of each layer in the binarized image group, wherein N denotes the number of pixel points, and detecting one circle in a slice of a kth layer, and taking the center of the circle as a circle center P5k and the radius of the circle corresponding to the circle center P5k as Rk. Provided is a method for extracting a point on a center line of an aorta on the basis of a CT sequence image. The method is a new method for acquiring a point on a center line of an aorta, and has the advantages of fast and accurate extraction and a fast calculation speed.
