A detection method, detection device and detection system for a moving target thrown from a height, which relate to the field of monitoring. The method comprises: acquiring several continuous images (202); performing image preprocessing on the several continuous images (204); acquiring preprocessed images, and performing an inter-frame differential operation to obtain differential result images (206); performing image processing on the differential result images to obtain binarized images (208); performing a morphological operation on the binarized images to obtain morphological result images (210); and performing connected domain analysis on the morphological result images to determine the location of a moving target thrown from a height (212).
