To provide a negative electrode for a sulphide all-solid battery which suppresses expansion during charging while using a Si-based negative-electrode active material, and a sulphide all-solid battery provided with the negative electrode.SOLUTION: A negative electrode for a sulphide all-solid battery containing negative electrode material particles is provided. The negative electrode material particles each comprise a plurality of Si-based material layers containing at least one kind of Si-based materials selected from a group consisting of Si and a Si alloy and a plurality of gap layers. The negative electrode for a sulphide all-solid battery includes a lamination part in which the Si-based material layers and the gap layers are alternately laminated, and a coating film that coats the surface of the lamination part so as to coat at least the gap layers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
