PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Karashimentaiko (mustard-seasoned salted cod roe) that has, even though it is salt-reduced, an excellent flavor and texture.;SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing Karashimentaiko that includes a step in which an ovary of Alaska pollack is soaked in a first pickling solution containing a plum salt, and a step in which the obtained ovary of Alaska pollack into which the plum salt is impregnated is soaked in a second pickling solution containing mustard seasoning.
