PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a protective film having excellent acid resistance, water repellency, stain resistance and slipperiness. SOLUTION: The coating agent of the present invention contains a dimerdiol di (meth) acrylate-based resin, polyfunctional (meth) acrylate-based compounds, and a photopolymerization initiator. Further, the protective film of the present invention has a coat layer formed on the base material layer using the coating agent of the present invention, a base material layer formed by using thermoplastic polyurethane, and a coat layer of the base material layer. A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed by using at least one resin selected from an acrylic type, a urethane type, a rubber type, and a silicone type is provided on the surface side opposite to the surface side on which the is formed.
