PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water content ratio estimation method, a cone index estimation method, a cone index estimation system, a vehicle and an unmanned aerial vehicle capable of estimating the water content ratio of an object with high accuracy without contact. SOLUTION: The water content ratio estimation method includes an imaging step of capturing an image of an object by a multispectral camera, a first spectral reflectance which is a spectral reflectance of the infrared wavelength band of the object based on the image, and an object. The water content ratio of the object is estimated based on the difference between the first spectral reflectance and the second spectral reflectance in the spectral reflectance acquisition step for acquiring the second spectral reflectance, which is the spectral reflectance in other wavelength bands.
