A distributed soil body thermal conductivity coefficient testing method and system. The testing method comprises the following steps: burying a composite optical cable (1) in a soil body to be tested (6), the composite optical cable (1) comprising an optical fiber and a thermal resistance material layer wrapping the optical fiber; using a heating control module (3) to heat said soil body (6) by means of the thermal resistance material layer, and using an optical signal processing control module (2) to continuously acquire heating temperature data of a stratum; and processing the heating temperature data by using the optical signal processing control module (2), calculating and outputting thermal conductivity coefficients of said soil body (6) at different depths according to a thermal conductivity coefficient calculation formula, and drawing a curve graph of the thermal conductivity coefficients and the depths. The testing system is small in size, convenient to carry, long in testing distance, capable of monitoring the temperature change of a rock-soil body in a deep range, high in testing efficiency, small in testing result error, and capable of obtaining a refined stratum thermal conductivity coefficient within a short testing time.
