A blockchain-based lost and found method is disclosed. In this method, when the owner loses his/her possessions, the lost asset information is created before loss and registered in the smart contract of the blockchain network. Lost and found confirmation step to check whether the lost asset information is registered in the smart contract using the code information obtained by scanning the attached or displayed visual code. and a lost-and-found registration step of registering in the smart contract, and a lost-and-found recovery step in which the owner device provides the lost and found information registered in the smart contract to the owner in order to recover the owner''s lost and found.
