This specification provides a method for grouping trade names. More specifically, in the method for grouping product names, the method comprising: generating an effective product name for each product name by removing unnecessary words not related to the actual product from each product name; generating candidate keywords for each product name by extracting a predetermined number of words starting from the first word of an effective product name; and when all of the words included in the candidate keyword are included in the original product name, grouping the product name corresponding to the candidate keyword into an effective product name group. Through this, the user can receive a more accurate product recommendation.
