To provide a technology capable of obtaining a frost of satisfactory anisotropy.SOLUTION: A freezing device 200 comprises: a container structure 210 in which a gas dispersion liquid LB containing a liquid and a gas component dispersed in the liquid is accommodated; and a cooling device 220 which cools the container structure 210, such that the gas dispersion liquid LB accommodated in the container structure 210 is frozen and defined as a frozen body FB. The gas dispersion liquid LB is frozen at such a cooling speed that multiple gas columns GC each of which a columnar cavity consisting of the gas component are formed inside of the frozen body FB by the cooling device 220. In the process of freezing the gas dispersion liquid LB, among directions of flows of heat from the gas dispersion liquid LB to the container structure 210, a flow of heat in one axial direction is generated preferentially, thereby forming the frozen body FB in which the multiple gas columns GC are made closer to each other in parallel so as to be turned in the one axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
