To provide a subcriticality evaluation device, for example, which can properly evaluate the uncertainty of a subcriticality evaluation calculation code even if a critical experiment with a low reproductivity is selected.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a subcriticality evaluation device for evaluating the subcriticality of a used fuel pit storing atomic fuels. The subcriticality evaluation device includes a controller which derives the uncertainty of a subcriticality evaluation calculation code to derive the evaluation value of the subcriticality from a subcriticality evaluation code calculation code according to nuclear data input to evaluate the subcriticality and an input parameter including the geometric shape and the composition of the used fuel pit.
