Disclosed is a face mask having improved air permeability. Provided, according to one aspect of the present invention, is a face mask having improved air permeability, the face mask comprising: a mask main body which covers a portion of the face, including the nose and lips, of a user; a folded region which is formed by folding a portion of the mask main body so as to increase a vent area in order to decrease airflow resistance when breathing; and a support band which is coupled to the mask main body and supports so that the mask main body tightly adheres to the face of the user, wherein the folded region comprises a plurality of folded parts which are formed by being folded multiple times in mutually opposite directions along a folding line which is a line by which the mask main body extends in the longitudinal direction.
