PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safe running of a train by transmitting the measurement data of train sway to a base station in real time and promptly responding to the sway exceeding a reference value, and to inspect the train sway after new construction / replacement of a railroad track. The challenge is to provide a train sway inspection system that enables efficient and rapid implementation of the above. SOLUTION: A motion detection device 1 includes an inertial sensor 2, a GPS receiver 3, an analysis unit 4 for analyzing and processing measurement data by the inertial sensor 2, and a display unit 5 for displaying the analysis-processed measurement data. A transmission / reception unit 6 for transmitting measurement data to the ground station device 11 via a network and a storage unit 7 are provided, and the analysis unit 4 presets and stores three items of vertical acceleration, lateral acceleration, and train speed.
