Disclosed are an intelligent-transportation-system-based autonomous driving method, apparatus and system for a transportation vehicle. The autonomous driving method comprises: an intelligent transportation system acquiring information related to the traveling of a transportation vehicle; establishing a transportation model, and intelligently analyzing an overall autonomous driving scheme of the transportation vehicle; and transmitting the scheme to the transportation vehicle, and the transportation vehicle executing autonomous driving according to the scheme. The autonomous driving apparatus comprises: a control assembly and a wireless transmission assembly. The intelligent transportation system comprises: a transportation information acquisition apparatus, a signal transceiver and a server. By means of the intelligent-transportation-system-based autonomous driving method, apparatus and system for a transportation vehicle of the present invention, problems such as incomprehensive information acquisition and conflict between decisions of various transportation vehicles are effectively prevented, the safety of the traveling of the transportation vehicle and the efficiency of the traveling of the transportation vehicle are greatly improved, and it is convenient to add an autonomous driving function to a manned driving transportation vehicle at a low cost.
