A diamond coating tool device for the metal surface nanonization and a preparation method therefor. The device comprises: a diamond coating tool assembly seat (1), a screw (2), and a diamond coating tool (3). The diamond coating tool assembly seat (1) is of a combined structure where a seat head (12) is horizontally integral to a seat body (11). The diamond coating tool (3) is of a combined structure where a cylindrical section (31) is vertically integral to a wedge-shaped section (32). The diamond coating tool (3) is mounted in a groove (13) of the seat head (12). The wedge-shaped section (32) of the diamond coating tool (3), and a wedge-shaped depression in the groove (13) correspond to each other, and match each other by means of a wedge-shaped surface. An upper part of the cylindrical section (31) of the diamond coating tool (3) corresponds to a threaded through hole of the groove (13). The screw (2) is mounted in the threaded through hole of the groove (13). A lower end of the screw (2) passes through the threaded through hole of the groove and abuts against an upper surface of the cylindrical section (31) of the diamond coating tool (3). A tool base of the diamond coating tool device is made of a tungsten carbide cobalt cemented carbide, and a diamond coating is grown on an outer surface, which can efficiently perform nanonization on the surface of a workpiece of a rotary body.
