The present invention relates to a system for discharging gas for pressure control in a fuel storage tank of a drillship and a drillship provided with such a gas discharging system. A drill ship provided with a gas discharge system and a gas discharge system of a drill ship according to the present invention is a boom rest provided adjacent to the crane to support a boom of a crane provided on the main deck of the drill ship (boom rest); and a venting line provided in the hull of the drillship and configured to discharge gas generated from a fuel storage tank for storing fuel used in the engine of the drillship, wherein the venting line is the fuel storage tank a connection portion extending from the boomrest; and an extension further extending from the connecting portion to the upper end of the boom rest along the boom rest.
