PURPOSE: A derrick loading method for a drillship is provided to quickly construct a drill ship by reducing time required for moving an offshore crane to a place where a derrick is positioned.;CONSTITUTION: A derrick loading method for a drillship is as follows. A derrick positioned in land is coupled to a land crane(S110). The land crane pulls the derrick positioned in land(S120). If the derrick is pulled by the land crane, the land crane moves to a dock where a drillship is constructed(S130). If the land crane pulling the derrick is positioned at the dock, the pulled derrick is put down on a right position where the derrick is installed in a hull of the drillship(S140). The derrick positioned at the right position of the hull is fixed on the hull(S150). The fastening of the derrick with the land crane is released(S160).
