Hybrid promoters and their use in therapy, especially in the treatment of type II collagenopathy

The present invention relates to a hybrid promoter with a specific design comprising a fragment of the hCOL2A1 promoter and a fragment of the hEF1α promoter which may be of interest in therapy, in particular in gene therapy. In particular, they may be introduced into a vector for expressing a nucleic acid sequence of interest. They may be useful for treating skeletal dysplasia or joint disease, such as type II collagenopathy.
