There are several types of plenoptic devices that have their own proprietary file format. Currently, there is no standard supporting the acquisition and transmission of multidimensional information on a complete overview of the different parameters on which the light-field depends. Thus, the light-field data obtained for different cameras has various formats. Thus, the concept of a pixel beam representing a volume occupied by a set of rays in the object space of the optical system of a camera is introduced. The method according to the invention makes it possible to provide data representing a collection of pixel beams describing an agnostic first optical system, since these data are obtained by imaging the collection of pixel beams via a second optical system am. This data representing a collection of pixel beams enables the creation of parameterized output images from its post-processing.
