Disclosed are a method and radar system for high-accuracy real-time heart rate measurement based on continuous wave Doppler radar. A heart rate measuring method according to an embodiment of the present invention is a continuous wave radar-based real-time heart rate measuring method, wherein an I (In-phase) signal and a Q (Quadrature) signal for a received signal received by the continuous wave radar are measured. receiving; selecting any one signal by comparing the magnitudes of the received I signal and the Q signal; performing frequency conversion on each of the bases having preset phases on the selected one signal; and determining a heartbeat rate based on a magnitude response of each of the bases by the frequency conversion.
