Provided is a can motor in which gasification of a handling liquid is reduced when a rotor rotates at a high speed. The can motor 10 has a stator 18 arranged in the stator chamber 26 , a rotor 14 arranged in the rotor chamber 12 , and a stator can 7 surrounding the rotor 14 . In addition, the can motor 10 has a stator chamber inlet portion 43 configured so that a cooling liquid for cooling the stator 18 flows into the stator chamber 26 , and a stator chamber outlet configured so that the cooling liquid flows out from the stator chamber 26 .
