A method and apparatus for providing an inquiry-based hospital recommendation service are disclosed. A hospital recommendation service method performed in a server device according to an aspect of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving an inquiry from a customer terminal; determining a disease category to be separated according to a preset criterion by using the inquiry content; determining a recommended hospital corresponding to the disease category; and providing information on a recommended hospital to a customer terminal.
