The target tracking method comprises: acquiring the current position and current dimensions of a target in the screen of an imaging device; acquiring the desired position of the target in the screen, and according to the desired position and the current position, determining the attitude angular deviation of the imaging device; according to the current position and the current dimensions, determining the attitude angular velocity corresponding to the attitude angular deviation; and controlling the imaging device to rotate the attitude angular deviation at the attitude angular velocity, so that the target in the screen is at the desired position.
