A control method for a multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle, a multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle (100), a control device (200) and a non-volatile computer-readable storage medium (300). The control method for a multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle comprises: (01) acquiring the power state of each rotor of an unmanned aerial vehicle; and (02) when it is determined, on the basis of the power state, that the power of any rotor of the unmanned aerial vehicle has failed, controlling the unmanned aerial vehicle to enter a balance mode. In the balance mode, the unmanned aerial vehicle rotates at an angular velocity greater than a first threshold value, and the displacement of the unmanned aerial vehicle in a horizontal direction is less than a preset displacement.
