FIELD: food industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means containing bacteria of Lactobacillus genus for reducing the population of Bilophila wadsworthia or inhibiting its growth in an individual and/or for reducing bile acids and improving corresponding metabolic disorders in a patient. The use of a fermented dairy product containing Lactobacillus rhamnosus CNCM I-3690 as a means to reduce the population of Bilophila wadsworthia or inhibit its growth in an individual is proposed.
