An Internet identity protection method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises: upon receipt of a claim settlement request in respect of target account information, obtaining all first transaction certificates corresponding to the target account information from a smart contract, wherein the target account information is used for logging on to a target application or a website; the first transaction certificates are used for recording login information corresponding to all the login requests uploaded by a server of the target application or the website; obtaining all second transaction certificates corresponding to the target account information from a blockchain node in a blockchain network, wherein the second transaction certificates are used for recording login information corresponding to login requests for normal authorized log-ons to the target application or the website; and responding to the claim settlement request by comparing all the first transaction certificates with all the second transaction certificates. Therefore, the Internet identity protection method provided by the present application allows for insurance of and automatic claim settlement for the Internet identity of a user.
