PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for re-centering imaging devices and input controls.;SOLUTION: A computer-assisted medical device comprises: an imaging device; input controls for teleoperating end effectors supported by a computer-assisted medical device; and a control unit comprising one or more processors and coupled to the end effectors, the imaging device and the input controls. The control unit is configured to: suspend teleoperated control of the end effectors by the input controls in response to a re-centering request; determine input control re-centering moves to provide positional and orientational harmony between the input controls and the end effectors; and execute the input control re-centering moves while the teleoperated control of the end effectors is suspended.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2021,JPO&INPIT
