PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove core sand 37 of a cast 4 by impulse waves by arc charge in a short time.;SOLUTION: In a state where a cast 4 is immersed in a liquid, an electrode member 11 generating arc discharge is confronted with the opening part 6 of a core hole 5 opened in the surface of the cast 4. Core sand 37 collapses by impulse waves by arc discharge, and in accordance with its internal exhaust from the opening part 6, the electrode member 11 is made to enter into the core hole 5.
