To secure a constant adhesive pressure while surely positioning both end faces of a split type core without applying a load to an operator.SOLUTION: A split type current transformer 1 comprises a split type magnetic core 10 formed by half-cutting a toroidal core, and a case 20 housing a magnetic core 10. The case 20 includes: a first case part 21A housing a first core part 10A of the magnetic core 10; a second case part 21B housing a second core part 10B of the magnetic core 10; and a lock mechanism 23 fixing the first case part 21A to the second case part 21B. Each of the first and second case parts 21A and 21B includes a V-shaped inclination part 28 structuring a downwardly inclined face toward a central part from both ends in a width direction. Outer peripheral faces of the first and second core parts 10A and 10B come into contact with the V-shaped inclination parts 28 in the first and second case parts 21A and 21B, respectively, and both the end faces of the first and second core parts 10A and 10B are close contact with other when fixing the first case part 21A to the second case part 21B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
