Collection system for sample sorted by flow cytometry and method for using it

A collection system for samples sorted by flow cytometry is provided.Aspects of the collection system include a collection container having a sorting tube configured to be in a droplet receptive relationship with a sorting block of the flow cytometer and a sample output to operatively couple the cell collection position of the collection vessel to a mating connection of a receptacle such as a vacuum receptacle, etc.A method of using a collection system and an assembly and a kit including components of the system are also provided.
