PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To include methods and compositions related to improvement of T cell therapy. The embodiments of the present disclosure include methods and compositions related to the improvement of T cell therapy. In certain embodiments, expression of the recombinant E08αβ coreceptor in CD8 + T cells enhances CD8 + T cell therapy. In certain embodiments, when the recombinant E08αβ co-receptor is expressed in CD4 + T cells, the CD4 + T cells will have cytotoxic cell function for adoption.
