This result was researched with the support of the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute''s research project for demand-response water supply service with funding from the Ministry of Environment (2020002650003). Floating sediment measuring device according to one technical aspect of the present invention, located below the water surface, to control the operation of the sensor unit and the sensor unit for measuring the depth and flow rate of the river, and using the data measured by the sensor unit and a control unit for calculating the concentration of floating sand in the river, and calculating the flow velocity of the river and the cross-sectional area of the measured cross-section based on the measured data. Here, the control unit may calculate the amount of floating sand in the river using the flow rate, the water depth, and the floating sand concentration. According to one embodiment of the present invention, there is an effect that can check and monitor the floating sediment information including the amount of floating sand and the concentration of the floating sand in the river in real time by using the floating sand measuring device installed in the river.
